Fertitta Entertainment acquires hometown River Oaks District property

One of Houston’s largest mixed-use developments is changing ownership.

JLL Capital Markets has announced the sale of River Oaks District, a 663,408-sq.-ft., luxury mixed-use asset, to Houston-based Fertitta Entertainment The property, located on Westheimer road, includes 302,668 sq. ft. of luxury retail, 279 premier apartment units and 67,060 sq. ft. of office space.

River Oaks retail brands include Hermes, Cartier, Dior, Harry Winston, Van Cleef & Arpels, Brunello, and Balmain. On its food and beverage menu are Le Colonial, Toulouse, Bari, Steak48, and Little Hen. An Equinox gym and an IPIC movie theater round out the tenant lineup.

The five-story Grey House Apartments at River Oaks serves as the upscale multi-housing component, offering units with wood flooring, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, custom European cabinetry, nine-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. The property also offers residents resort-style pools and spas, clubhouses with modern décor, a full-service onsite concierge, a screening room, conference rooms and a fitness facility.
