Best Buy is teaming with Microsoft to promote the CoPilot+ PC line.

Best Buy Co. Inc. is partnering with Microsoft to provide perks for shoppers of the tech giant's upcoming line of artificial intelligence-enabled PCs.

On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, Microsoft will release its new AI-enabled Copilot+ PCs, which the company says are the fastest, most intelligent Windows PCs ever. Best Buy will have the largest available assortment of Copilot+ PCs and will serve as the exclusive retailer of several of these models, including devices from Microsoft, Dell, HP, Lenovo and Samsung.

Pre-orders are now available on the Best Buy mobile app and e-commerce site and in the retailer’s stores. Other special Copilot+ PC offerings from Best Buy include:

  • Starting Tuesday, June 18, Best Buy will offer in-store product demonstrations. Shoppers will be able to try out Copilot+ devices firsthand in every Best Buy store and receive support from a specially trained expert.
  • Customers will also be able to connect live with a virtual expert from their homes or on-the-go. Experts will be able to give tech guidance, answer any questions and help with product orders, one-on-one and over video, voice or chat.
  • Participants in the My Best Buy Plus and My Best Buy Total paid membership programs will get a free 50-inch class TV with the purchase of any Copilot+ device for a limited time.
  • For a limited time, customers can get up to 24-month financing on Copilot+ purchases $999 and up with the My Best Buy credit card.

New Copilot+ features include advanced AI image generation, enhanced video calls, and the ability to find documents that have been seen. These computers are powered by the Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus processors.

"AI continues to be a major driver in tech innovation, and this new category of powerful devices will change how our customers think about and use their computers," said Jason Bonfig, senior executive VP of customer offerings and fulfillment at Best Buy. "We worked closely with Microsoft on what we know our customers are looking for in their devices, and our teams are prepared to bring this new tech to life online and in stores like never before."

Based in Minneapolis, Best Buy Co. Inc. operates more than 1,000 retail stores in North America.
